Busy, busy, busy

Well getting ready for my first crop this weekend. It can't come soon enough. I am so excited. I have been really sick with bronchitis and was afraid I couldn't go. I found out I may have lupus and have to be tested. If anyone has lupus or knows of a great place to chat with people with lupus please let me know. I am checking my options out. Have a blessed day. Scrapbooking Crops

I am so excited. I am going to my first crop. It isn't until September 25th, but I can hardly contain myself. I am already planning my papers and pictures. Getting embellishments that I may use ready. Not sure if I will get much done or gathering tips from others. I am still pretty new at this, but ready to learn more and more. I have a new border punch coming in the mail. It is from the website. If you are not a Fiskateer, it is a great site to join. Check it out.

What a day.

Boy what a day today. I was so hoping to do some crafting, but alas my psoriatic arthritis is in a flare. I am in such pain, but I am blessed to be able to feel pain. That means I am alive and have gotten another day to spend with my family and watching my son grow up, another day to praise God, another day to talk to friends, another day to learn more about God, just another day, and another day to share Jesus with someone. Thank you God for another day.

Great Day

Had a great day at church today. In sunday school we are doing a Beth Moore study and today's lesson was about Joy and how we let others and circumstances steal the joy that God has given to us. Here are some things Beth says we let take our joy.
1. When our output exceeds our intake. Are you serving more than you are seeking?
2. When our talk exceeds or walk.
3. When we become "wonder-junkies"
4. When we are exhausted.
5. When we feel all alone.

Are you letting your joy be stolen from you. By recognizing where our joy has went we can get it back.

Lord, may we look to you for our source of joy and rest in the promises you have for us. May we be on the look-out for the joy stealers and come to you when we see those joy stealers in our lives. Amen

She is in the works to sell her books to other scrapbook stores. I made this LO for a challenge on NSD, but got frustrated and had to put it away for a while. This is my very first LO, but I hope for more to come. The challenge if for the Fiskateer blog, which is It is a great place for inspiration and to meet others and get to know about some of the Fiskars products. Hope you will check it out and join.

NSD Yeah.

Well. I have been really busy in April. Things should slow down. We had to pack up and move my MIL into senior housing, went to a creative arts festival, sent to a Women of Joy retreat, and took a trip to see my parents. Man am I tired. National Scrapbook Day and I am taking time for myself. Here are some things I have made lately. I covered some notebooks and here is a picture of me wearing a tiara for Fiskateers. Check it out at Be sure to check out the blog. Hope to have more later this weekend. Enjoy NSD and I am saving up somethings to offer blog candy. Hopefully in July which is my anniversary.

I don't do it so much now that I have arthritis all over, but it is fun. Do you have a hidden talent? If so please share.

Just a few things that I have made lately. Not sure on the manufacturer of the products, but i'll try to get better. The nugget boxes I seen made on You tube. There is alot of insiration on the blogs and on you tube.

Migraine Madness

Well, I have had a migraine for two days. But at least I am alive and have many friends and family that love me. My migraine pain can't compare to the pain my Lord went through on my behalf. Thank You Lord for all you do and have done for me. Just wanted to get on here and share a little.

Well I have been searching blogs and decided it is time to do one of my own. I am new to this and am really excited to get going. I am a mom, who loves to craft, and I will soon be homeschooling my 8 year old. I have arthritis, but refuse to let it cause me to stop living. I love life and love God (the giver of life). I am thankful for great friends and family who love me so. Thank You to all who may check out my blog and may God bless you.
